Our sister agency, Etch Design Co. is on the hunt for a Creative Project Manager / Art Director (Freelance / Contract) who can lead with empathy, move with urgency, and sharp enough to spot great creative - and potential roadblocks - before anyone else.

At Etch, we design for impact – helping marketing leaders secure beautiful, on-brand creative that’s always on time and on point. You’ll be the calm eye in the creative storm – ensuring timelines are met, clients are heard, and the design team is empowered to do their best work.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the flow of multiple client projects (think: branding, web, print, digital)
• Keep timelines, deliverables, and priorities crystal clear for everyone involved
• Act as the main point of contact between our team and our clients – with professionalism and a human touch
• Give creative art direction to our creative squad
• Spot scope creep and squash it early with clear expectations
• Review deliverables for quality and brand alignment
• Lead with kindness, clarity, and a get-it-done mindset :)

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of creative project management
• A design portfolio that shows bold thinking, thoughtful execution, and an understanding of what makes design effective
• Solid understanding of design and branding (you don’t need to be a designer, but you “get it”)
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Experience managing multiple deadlines without dropping the ball
• Cares deeply about the little things, without getting stuck in them
• Empathetic, humble, energized, proactive, and organized – people love working with you!
• Previous experience as Art Director or Creative Director
• Entrepreneurial bent or marketing acumen
• Are fluent in CRM tools like Asana or ClickUp
• Can spot great design from a mile away
