Job summary

South Bend, IN area is hosting a major data center construction project. We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contract administration, subcontract management and commercial risk across the lifecycle of a large-scale build.

Qualifications

• Recent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing subcontract agreements and contract administration across the project.
• Reviewing contract terms, scopes of work and commercial obligations.
• Supporting subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract award.
• Managing change orders, claims, notices and contractual correspondence.
• Tracking subcontractor compliance against contract requirements.
• Identifying contractual and commercial risks and supporting mitigation strategies.

We are working with a General Contractor delivering a major 350,000 sq. ft. data center development in the South Bend area and are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join the project team.

This is a site-based role responsible for managing contracts, subcontractor agreements, commercial risk and contract compliance across a large-scale ground-up data center project.

Recent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential.

The Role

The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Project Executive, Project Managers, commercial team, legal partners and subcontractors to ensure contracts are properly administered throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing subcontract agreements and contract administration across the project
• Reviewing contract terms, scopes of work and commercial obligations
• Supporting subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract award
• Managing change orders, claims, notices and contractual correspondence
• Tracking subcontractor compliance against contract requirements
