Job summary

CFS is seeking a Contracts Manager to own grants and contracts administration, ensuring accurate financial management across multiple grant-funded projects. The role collaborates with finance leadership and program teams to maintain compliance and robust reporting.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with two in-office days in Midtown Manhattan, supporting federal, state, local, and private grants, with a focus on accurate budgeting and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 3+ years of financial management experience, ideally with grant accounting.
  • Knowledge of OMB Circular 2 CFR and nonprofit fiscal management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage grants and contracts administration for assigned projects.
  • Analyze project financials and reconcile expenses to budget.
  • Prepare vouchers, reports, and documentation for funders and audits.
  • Partner with project leaders to develop and modify project budgets.
  • Maintain projects within Sage Intacct and support financial tracking and reporting.
