Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Contracts Management Principal to drive RFx processes and contract management across major data center construction programs. You will prepare, review, negotiate, and execute contracts with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants for long-running builds and post-build services.

Collaborate across legal, finance, construction, engineering and procurement to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, construction management, legal studies, contract law, business law, or supply chain.
• 5–7 years of commercial/transactional contracts management incl. drafting, negotiation, execution and management.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience.
• 1+ year working for a hyperscaler and/or data center developer/operator.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
• Proficient in contract lifecycle management software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain tools, data analytics and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue RFxs for services and evaluate bids from suppliers.
• Develop and implement contract formation, execution and administration plans.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and execute contracts with clients, subcontractors and consultants for large-scale data center programs.
• Manage contract renewals, extensions, amendments and terminations with thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, construction, engineering and procurement to align terms with objectives.
• Identify risks and manage contract-related issues or disputes.
