Job summary

Rhino + Jetty is seeking an Associate Counsel to build and run a best-in-class contracts and corporate governance function. This early-career attorney role emphasizes owning process, partnering across teams, and learning from seasoned counsel.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you’ll manage contract lifecycle, maintain corporate records, and advise on regulatory matters related to insurance, finance, and consumer relations in a fast-growing, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active U.S. state bar admission is required.
• 2–3 years' experience in corporate governance, contracts, and consumer financial services a plus.
• Experience in regulated environments (insurance/finance/healthcare) is preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential.
• Ability to build and maintain contract templates and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve contract lifecycle, drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and renewal tracking.
• Maintain corporate records and governance across the organization; manage governance processes and policies.
• Partner with Compliance on insurance, finance, and data privacy regulations; respond to regulatory inquiries.
