Job summary

ACA Group is seeking a legal professional to draft, review, and negotiate contracts for its broker-dealers and related agreements, handling complex regulatory and compliance matters. You will support the Legal Department on diverse projects and ensure efficient operation across the department.

Ideal candidates have a JD, bar admission, 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial services, and proven ability to draft sophisticated agreements with large financial institutions.

Qualifications

• JD required and licensed to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience in law firm, regulatory agency, or in-house setting; broker-dealer, mutual funds, or financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Experience drafting and reviewing complex agreements with large, sophisticated counterparties, including major financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate all contracts related to ACA’s subsidiary broker-dealers.
• Research and provide legal advice to ACA business regarding broker-dealer and mutual fund distribution, including regulatory/compliance issues.
• Interact with ACA clients, outside counsel, service providers, and others regarding contract terms and information.
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments impacting ACA’s subsidiary broker-dealers and update contracts/policies accordingly.
• Perform ad-hoc work or special projects to support ACA on various initiatives.
