Job summary

RTX seeks a motivated student for a full-time co-op in the Contracts and Business group in Windsor Locks, CT. You will support aerospace contract matters, research terms, and build a database of contract terms to aid proposals.

Responsibilities include drafting standard work, organizing contracts, and ensuring import/export compliance. Requires enrolled students with 60+ credit hours and proficiency in Office tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree and enrolled through internship session.
• Minimum 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Proficient in O365, PowerPoint & Excel.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do

• How to understand and interpret aerospace contract terms
• How to create efficient standard processes for use by a large team
• How to disseminate (flowdown) Customer contractual requirements within the organization

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business, English, Pre-law or related field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Proficient in O365, Powerpoint & Excel

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
