Collins Aerospace is seeking motivated Software Engineers join the Integrated Applications Engineering team supporting development of the Collins Flight Deck. This role offers the opportunity to work on real avionics programs and gain hands‑on experience across the software lifecycle-from requirements and architecture through integration, verification, and delivery.
This position will provide you the opportunity to work with Flight Deck software in an agile team environment. The team has an array of technical tasks available meant to develop engineers for the future. As part of the team, you will work alongside experienced engineers to help develop the software based on high‑level system behaviors, decompose requirements, support avionics architecture development, and contribute to software verification activities. This is a strong fit for those who enjoy solving technical problems, learning complex systems, and collaborating across software, systems, and test disciplines.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
