Job summary

FDH Aero, headquartered in Commerce, CA, seeks a detailed Logistics Analyst to capture demand from Sales and manage 1500 SKUs from a centralized location. You will own the Customer Consignment Process, coordinate with customers on usage reports, and ensure stock rotations using FIFO.

You will collaborate across procurement, sales and operations, maintaining flexibility to meet tight deadlines and driving service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mathematics or equivalent industry experience.
• Data analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MRP functionality and Inventory control will be beneficial.
• Effective communicator both written and verbal.
• Ability to produce timely and high-quality reports.
• Flexible and responsive to change.
• Self-motivated and confident.

Responsibilities

• Understand contractual demands and analyze ad-hoc vs consignment parts.
• Proactively create customer reports based on parts usage and new demands.
• Work with Purchasing to ensure safety stock levels are maintained.
• Serve as focal point for contractual customers and maintain service levels.
• Monitor and adjust stock levels in MRP and inventory systems.
• Perform cycle counts and manage remote site inventories.
• Receive and reconcile consignment usage reports.
• Invoice consignments monthly.
• Organize replenishment orders for consignments.
• Negotiate freight methods to destination.
• Support other logistical requirements within operations.

We Are Looking For

You will be responsible for ensuring all business demand requirements have been captured from Sales / New Business Opportunities, Consignment Stock and general stock replenishment, monitoring 1500 different products SKU’s. Ownership of the Customer Consignment Process, liaising with the customers to ensure usage reports are sent every month, resolving any discrepancies, stock reservations and ensuring stock rotations are carried out adopting a FIFO policy. This role will work across procurement, sales & operations. Ultimately, you should have a flexible working attitude and able to work under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Understanding the contractual demands and analysing ad-hoc vs consignment parts
• Proactively create customer reports based on parts usage and new demands
• Working with the Purchasing team to ensure safety stock levels are maintained
• Being a focal point for the contractual customers whilst ensuring customer service is maintained at the highest level
• Constantly working on the MRP function and adjusting the stock levels where required
• Maintaining inventory related tasks such as reserving and unreserving stock, recording expiry dates, correcting stock balances and performing cycle counts at remote sites
• Receiving and reconciling usage reports from consignment customers
• Invoicing consignment customers with monthly usage
• Organising replenishment orders for each of the consignments
• Negotiating with freight forwarders to source the best method of shipment to the destination.
• Assisting all other logistical requirements within the operations group
