Job summary

Jack Henry is seeking a Contract Billing Analyst to join our Finance Ops team on a hybrid schedule at Monett, MO; Springfield, MO; Allen, TX; or Overland Park, KS. You will enter contracts, process and validate billing, and analyze contract and billing needs for multiple systems.

The role requires advanced MS Excel and experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, plus strong data analysis and communication skills to support management with actionable reports.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 months of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Advanced experience with MS Excel in pivot tables, macros and advanced formulas.

• Experience entering and reviewing contracts into PeopleSoft accounting software is a plus.

Contract Billing Analyst will be joining our Finance Ops team and will be responsible for supporting Contracts Billing compliance with best practices and industry standards. In this role, you will enter contracts, process and validate billing, and systematic changes, and analyze contract/billing needs. Responsibilities will include maintaining production contract data for analysis and reporting findings to various levels of leadership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using PeopleSoft FSCM and advanced Excel regularly and comparing large data sets from multiple systems.

This position will be filled to work a Hybrid schedule at any of the following Jack Henry office locations: Monett, MO / Springfield, MO / Allen, TX or Overland Park, KS. The hiring manager will provide you expectations and clarity as to when and what days you would be required to go into the office for onsite meetings, events, and training.

This position will have a salary range of $38,650-$55,000 based on experience and location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Entering and processing billing every month end cycle.
• Retrieve and analyze data and present reports to management for use in supporting billing and contracts business objectives.
• Evaluate daily, weekly, monthly, etc. production data for trend analysis and recommend/lead process improvements.
• Evaluate internal controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation of policies and procedures in order to adhere to company requirements.
• Monitor contract and billing process changes and distributes necessary information to implement changes to various departments and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain an organized, methodical documentation system for communicating, implementing, and managing new and existing contract and billing data.
• Perform compliance reviews of various applications.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

• A minimum of 18 months of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Advanced experience with MS Excel in a combination of the following areas (pivot tables, manipulating macros and advanced formulas).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cross- team and department collaboration skills.
• Need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment; adaptability to change.
• Must have strong time management, problem solving skills and in depth experience reviewing and analyzing data.
• Must be detail -oriented and execute analytical thinking to ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to travel up to 5% to attend Jack Henry meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
