Job summary

Langan Corporation is seeking a Contracts Attorney or Contract Manager to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ or NYC. This role directly supports the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel and handles a wide range of contract matters across the firm, with a focus on professional services agreements.

You will draft, review, and negotiate agreements, manage contract tracking, assist in RFQs and legal disclosures, and help refine contracting processes while collaborating with

Qualifications

• JD preferred; strong contracting background in professional services, subcontracts, or prime consultant agreements.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, or architectural firms is highly desired.
• Exceptional organization, prioritization, and negotiation skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, analyze, and interpret professional services and subcontract agreements.
• Prepare redlines, comments, and summaries; negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support GC/AGC with contract tracking and process refinement.
• Assist in RFQs, certifications, prequalification forms, and legal disclosures.
• Draft legal correspondence and manage filing of liens when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and approvals; perform other duties.
