Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct relevant experience with high volume data entry in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm and collect all relevant data for entry, including attachments and approvals as needed.
  • Interpret and analyze financial information and contract language for accurate ERP entry.
  • Enter data into ERP and CLM systems timely and accurately.
  • Initiate requests for new customer information in ERP.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to obtain information.
  • Maintain detailed and organized contract files.

Worker TypeRegularJob DescriptionSummaryThe Contracts Associate II, provides administrative support to the Contracts Department. Performs Contracts and Order entry tasks in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. Attention to detail and time management is key in this role.Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms a wide variety of administrative functions required to support the Contracts business area that include, but are not limited to: Confirm and collect all relevant data (including attachments and approvals as needed for entry); Interpret and analyze financial information and contract language on Contracts to ensure accurate entry into the ERP; Timely and accurate contract data entry into the ERP and CLM; Initiate requests for new customer information to be added into the ERP; Interfacing with several cross-functional team members to obtain information; Maintaining detailed and organized contract files; Initiate revisions to sales orders when applicable and approved; Reconcile order management system issues/errors.Evaluate, review, and reconcile contracts for Closeout.Support both internal and external audit efforts by providing validations, contract information, or reports from the ERP of files.Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)High school diploma or GED equivalent is requiredMinimum 4 years direct relevant experience with high volume data entry in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is highly desired) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Ability to Multi-task and prioritize workloadExperienced and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat as well as basic computer skillsDemonstrated proficiency in shifting prioritiesOther Qualifications & Desired CompetenciesAssociate degree or higher is preferredPrior experience in an aerospace/defense/government contracting environment is preferredDemonstrates willingness and competency in learning multiple software programsDemonstrates personal initiative and ability to work independently yet be a team playerConsistently supports and aids multiple partners, managers and peers at any given timeDemonstrates high organizational skills and conducts business in a professional mannerProcess-oriented, results and deadline-drivenAble to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of dutiesDisplays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectivesTakes ownership and responsibility for current and past work productsPhysical DemandsAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)May require travel to sites/program and special functions.Clearance LevelNo ClearanceThe salary range for this role is:$23 - $35AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.ITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
