Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA specializes in shipbuilding contracts and seeks a Contracts Admin to join the Contracts team. This role supports award, administration, modification, and closeout while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk. The analyst provides guidance across business teams and contributes to pricing analysis and proposal development for U.S.

Government customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, law, or finance and 2+ years in contracts or procurement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of U.S. Government contracting principles and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and related government regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support contract lifecycle activities including award, administration, modification, closeout, and audit prep.
• Review terms to address financial, delivery, IP, termination, indemnification risks and suggest mitigation.
• Prepare and finalize contractual documents such as NDAs, Teaming and Service Agreements.
• Provide contractual guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Assist in proposal development by reviewing RFPs for compliance and pricing data calls.
• Track contractual deliverables, funding, invoicing, and change orders.
• Maintain awareness of FAR/DFARS and ensure compliance.
• Support negotiations related to contract awards and modifications.
