Job summary

Brasseler USA Inc. seeks a Contracts Analyst in New York to analyze contracts for profit opportunities, compile and review essential reports, and support TSM training when needed.

The role requires collaboration with management, sales, and suppliers to verify pricing, enable higher tier access, and contribute to contract applications and special projects while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power Bi and Access skills.
  • Knowledge of sales plans, contracts, GPOs and pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze contracts for profit opportunities in collaboration with management and sales.
  • Compile and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze business opportunities and processes including GPO analysis and pricing.
  • Identify and address large negative GP transactions and adjust sell prices as needed.
  • Assist management with training new TSMs and supervise non-exempt TSMs when needed.
  • Prepare and distribute manual chargeback details to suppliers.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as required.

Job description

JOB OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for analyzing contracts for profit opportunities; Compiles, analyzes, distributes, and audits various reports; On occasion, will assist management with TSM training and may be required to supervise non-exempt TSM’s, when the Supervisor and Manager are unavailable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 20% Analyzes contracts for profit opportunities, works closely with management, sales representatives, and suppliers. Determine if accounts can access higher tiers through price or tier activations and, if so, work with the sale reps to ensure completion and that proper verification/approval was accomplished by the supplier.
  • 25% Compiles and reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports for distribution to management, Contracts/Rebate team, and suppliers. Where necessary, complete the reports to ensure the required updates have been done. Reports would include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • CB's Ready to Transmit
    • New Ship-to Address Change
    • Newly Matched Items
    • Contracts Owned By Replacement Item
    • UOM Issues
    • Pharma Audits
    • COT or Non-US Exclusion Accounts
    • Various GPO Sell Price reports (CPS10, ESG, Women’s Care)
    • Membership Reports
  • 10% Analyzes business opportunities / processes: Such as GPO Analysis, expansion of the role of the GPO Hunter database which finds opportunities for existing accounts through contract applications. May also include reviewing opportunities for Equipment Chargebacks.
  • 10% Analyzes large negative gp transactions to determine why an item is selling at a low or negative GP%, and correcting Sell Prices, where applicable, to reduce the risk to Schein.
  • 5% Assists management with training new TSM’s.
  • 5% May supervise non-exempt TSM’s, when the Supervisor and Manager are unavailable.
  • 5% Compiles and distributes the manual chargeback details to various suppliers.
  • 10% Participates in special projects and performs other duties, as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Must have excellent negotiation and inter-personal skills Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power Bi and Access skills. Knowledge of sales plans, contracts, GPOs and pricing. Strong analytical skills. Must be very detail oriented. Able to prioritize multiple tasks. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while using a computer.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Typically 4 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $55,630 to $86,922 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range. Other benefits available include: Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401K Plan with Company Match, PTO [or sick leave if applicable], Paid Parental Leave, Income Protection, Work Life Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, Educational Benefits, Worldwide Scholarship Program and Volunteer Opportunities.

The posted range for this position is $56,604 to $88, 443 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
