The FFRDC Contracts Department is seeking Contract Administrator III to provide comprehensive advice and effective contract management to the Corporation for timely execution of required contract actions under the Space Systems Command (SSC)/Aerospace FFRDC Contract in supporting United State Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC), NRO, Air Force, DoD, and other Intelligence and Civil government agencies in support of national security space systems. This position is full-time on‑site at our campus facility located in El Segundo CA.
Work collaboratively with - Internal Customers (Finance Management, Technical Management, Supply Chain, Facilities, Accounting, Security, Legal and external customers (Space Systems Command departments, Air Force, DOD, Civil and Intelligence agencies, DCAA and DCMA) Manage assigned Aerospace Requirements Tool (ART) government requests (30+) FFRDC SSC Job Numbers ($200M+) – to review Statement of Work (SOW), CDRLS, and other requirements, and make any required updates to the ART throughout the Fiscal Year Manage assigned SSC Job Numbers (30+) activities – Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, including, Work Release Orders (WROs), funding, Special Plant Equipment (SPPE), Government International Travel Requirements, Facilities Work Orders (FWOs), Process Director, BW Reports, Monthly Status Reports and Collocation Requests Develop SPPE packages for the SPPE Committee to review and approve Develop FWO packages for SSC review and approve Prepare CDRL Reports and other Contract Reports Inputting Contract Modification funding and other data into enterprise system (SAP/4) Assist SSC Contracts office for contract modifications – funding additions, de‑obligations, and/or realignments, and administrative changes (SOW update, etc.) Assist in coordinating Professional Technical Staff (PTS) allocation ROM/EAC Pricing Plans for SSC submittal Prepare Collocation Request packages for Vice President review and approval Prepare Overhead Claim Confirmation of Negotiations packages for SSC review and approval Become knowledgeable of the Contract Terms and Conditions, FAR, DFARS, and DODi 5000.77 to provide guidance to Business and Technical Management Update Tracking List reports – SPPE, International Travel, ART Requests, FWOs, CAT 1 PTS/EOCs, Contract Briefs Prepare Office of Undersecretary of Defense (OSD/RE) Project Plans per ART JON annually Participate or lead in special projects for the Directorate as required such as Program Management Review Briefing support, contract closeouts
Minimum Requirements – Contracts Administration Staff III Bachelor’s Degree in related field Four or more years of experience in Government Contract Management Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DODi 5000.77 Interpersonal skills working with all types of management – Business and Technical This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
