The Contracts Administrator is responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts to meet business objectives while reducing risk to the company. This role involves verifying contract terms for compliance, identifying non-compliance issues, and proposing risk mitigation and transfer strategies. The Contracts Administrator will manage the entire contract lifecycle—from review and negotiation to execution and database management. Responsibilities also include handling government-specific contracts at federal, state, and local levels, and collaborating with management to develop long-term processes ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Review and maintain Contract alias emails and Service Now queue, managing all communications through these channels.
  2. Provide risk management consultation on all submitted contracts, including vendor, customer, and subcontractor agreements.
  3. Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters, mediating between company employees, vendors, customers, and subcontractors.
  4. Ensure timely review, approval, negotiation, and reconciliation of contract variations.
  5. Advise management on contractual rights and obligations, interpreting terms and conditions.
  6. Coordinate with external resources, such as insurance brokers, to ensure contracts comply with insurance policies.
  7. Develop solutions to contractual problems and advise stakeholders on contract terms, ensuring consistency with company standards.
  8. Assist in documenting internal policies and procedures to mitigate internal risks.
  9. Collaborate with the Professional Services team to monitor and manage client contractual obligations.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.
  2. 1-2 years of experience with legal and/or contracts such as NDAs, BAAs, and Event Contracts.
  3. 1-2 years of experience with federal, state, and local contract requirements.
  4. 1-2 years of experience managing and responding to email aliases.
  5. Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and written communication.
  6. Experience with contracts databases and Salesforce.com is a plus.
  7. Proven negotiation, time management, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  8. Customer service orientation and attention to detail are essential.
