Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

The Contracts Administrator supports the full lifecycle of government contracts and subcontracts by ensuring timely execution of contractual actions and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Working with the Contracts Manager, Accounting Manager, and Program Managers, this role assists in executing a wide range of contract-related functions with accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist the Senior Contracts Manager in the administration of contracts, subcontracts, task orders, modifications, and other contractual actions
  • Track and monitor contract funding, modifications, deliverables, and reporting deadlines
  • Maintain organized and complete contract files in accordance with company and government requirements
  • Review and process incoming contractual documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal procedures
  • Interface with internal teams (finance, program management, compliance) to support contract execution and performance tracking
  • Support proposal efforts by reviewing solicitation requirements and preparing contract-related documentation as needed
  • Ensure timely completion of contract deliverables, reports, and certifications
  • Provide support for the invoicing process and Monthly Status Reports in coordination with internal stakeholders, as needed


Qualifications:

  • Typical Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field
  • Typical Experience: 2–5 years of experience in federal contract administration, preferably with DoD or similar government agencies
  • Additional Guidelines:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel, including advanced spreadsheet management and data tracking
    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP/contract management systems is a significant plus
    • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and general principles of government contracting
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work independently within a collaborative team environment
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet critical deadlines as needed
