Job Description

North Reading Public Schoolsis seeking a part-time, contracted,Wilson Reading Tutor to provide support services tostudents in thedistrict.North Reading Public Schoolsis actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

This contract will be for up to 19 hours per week.

Essential duties
  • ProvideWilson Reading tutorial services to students in thedistrict
  • Complete assessments
  • Collaborate and communicate with other members of the educational team includingfamilies
  • Participate in team meetings as needed
  • Develop educationally relevant, measurable, and observable goals and objectives with the team
  • Any other related duties as may be assigned by the Director of Student Services, Assistant Director of Special Education, and/or their Designee
Requirements
  • Master's Degree
  • Valid license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the MA Board of Registration in Allied Health Professions
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations that govern public schools
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

The hourly range listed is a guide. Final rate will be commensuratewith experience.
