My MediRides is seeking reliable and compassionate Stretcher Transport Drivers to safely transport patients to medical appointments, dialysis, and therapy sessions.

Company provides paid in-field training, a company vehicle with fuel card, and a supportive team environment to help you succeed on the road. Role offers daytime shifts, Monday–Friday, in locations including New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and surrounding areas with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for clear communication with patients and staff.
• Able to lift/pull up to 50 lbs and assist patients as needed.
• Comfortable using GPS devices and basic mobile tech.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments.
• Provide professional, courteous service at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues promptly.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Report moving violations to supervisor immediately.

Contractor Stretcher Transport Driver – Full Time / Part Time

Location: New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Seminole

Pay: $18/hr + Per-Trip Incentive

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Daytime)

About The Role

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments
• Provide professional, courteous service at all times
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Report any moving violations to supervisor immediately

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verified driving experience
• Valid state driver’s license
• 2+ Years prior stretcher transport experience is preferred
• Having EMT-B, Paramedic certification is preferrable
• At least 30 years of age
• Live within 30 minutes of job location
• Pass background, drug screening, MVR check.
• Able to lift/pull up to 50 lbs, bend, and climb in/out of vehicles
• Comfortable using GPS/technology
• English fluency (read/write/speak)
