Job summary

My MediRides is seeking reliable and compassionate Stretcher Transport Drivers to safely transport patients to medical appointments, dialysis, and therapy sessions. This role offers paid in-field training, a company vehicle with fuel card, and a supportive team environment.

Candidates must have 5+ years driving experience, a valid license, and be comfortable using GPS technology. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and being within 30 minutes of the location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verified driving experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• 2+ years stretcher transport experience preferred.
• At least 30 years of age and live within 30 minutes of job location.
• Able to lift/pull up to 50 lbs, bend, and climb in/out of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments.
• Provide professional, courteous service at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Report any moving violations to supervisor immediately.

Contractor Stretcher Transport Driver – Full Time / Part Time

Location: New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Seminole

Pay: $18/hr + Per-Trip Incentive

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Daytime)
