Job summary

Ignite Social Media is seeking a Social Media Community Engagement Specialist (Contractor) to manage reactive engagement and guide meaningful conversations across brand channels. This role focuses on community moderation, timely responses, and escalation per guidelines, with a minimum of 24 hours weekly and EST hours.

You’ll work with platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok, plus tools like Sprinklr or Hootsuite.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow defined workflows and respond quickly.
• Experience engaging with consumer brands on social platforms.
• Familiarity with third-party engagement tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Moderate communities and monitor brand social channels.
• Respond to comments and mentions, escalating when needed.
• Identify trends, provide recommendations to optimize engagement.
• Flag UGC for potential reuse in posts or ads.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet client goals.
