Job summary

Ed Herrington, Inc. is seeking a full-time Contractor Sales professional in Lakeville, CT to proactively grow sales by maintaining relationships with current and new accounts.

The role requires daily customer engagement, quotes, order writing, and collaboration with Pro-Sales and counters to deliver outstanding service. The position offers daytime hours, benefits including health and retirement, and opportunities to participate in training and trade shows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; able to navigate and use vendor software.
• Knowledge of general lumber, millwork, building supplies, engineered wood design & products a plus.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or 2-year college; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training in the building trades industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships and sales through effective time management.
• Contact prospective customers to explain services, costs and advantages; respond quickly with accurate information.
• Manage assigned accounts for Ed Herrington, Inc. profitability.
• Coordinate with company services to present Ed Herrington, Inc. offerings to customers.
• Provide quotes, write orders, and schedule initiation of services.
