Job summary

Divine Doors, Windows and Trim, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Contractor Sales & Project Management Specialist to guide projects from quote through delivery in Michigan.

You will leverage product knowledge, plan-reading skills, and strong communication to coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams. This role emphasizes building long-term relationships with contractors and trade partners while ensuring accurate project quotes and timely deliveries in a hands-on, small-business

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in contractor sales or related fields.
• Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Drive contractor and commercial carpentry sales growth by providing expert product recommendations, reading blueprints, and generating accurate project quotes.
• Build long-term relationships with residential builders, contractors, carpenters, and trade partners through responsiveness and credibility.
• Review plans and project details to identify questions or potential conflicts early; communicate practical options before issues affect cost, schedule, or installation.
• Develop professional sales orders, purchase orders, and illustration renditions via PowerPoint or AI to create clear project expectations for clients.
• Translate technical product and construction details into clear, practical guidance for customers, vendors, and internal teammates.
• Conduct site visits to validate project specifications, verify site measurements, support customers, and make necessary sales-order adjustments.
