Marvins Building Materials Inc is seeking a sales associate to build relationships with contractor customers and professional accounts. You will assist with product selection, recommend higher-value products, and provide expert advice on hardware, tools, and building materials.

You will generate quotes, place orders, and ensure timely fulfillment while maintaining excellent service. Expect to stay current on product knowledge, manage multiple customers, and meet sales goals in a busy, organized

Qualifications

• Previous experience in contractor sales, hardware retail, construction, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of tools, hardware, lumber, building materials, and construction processes
• Proven ability to upsell and provide solution-based recommendations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously
• Basic computer skills and experience with POS or order management systems
• Ability to lift and move products as needed (up to weight requirement)
