Western Building Center in Libby, MT is seeking a full-time Contractor Sales professional to excel in a fast-paced retail environment. You will enhance customer experience, learn building materials sales, and support administration and logistics. Experience in trades or lumber/building materials is recommended.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales achievement, and safe operations while enabling growth within a retail setting in Northwest Montana.

Location Name: Western Building Center

Shift: Day shift, all seasons - Saturday’s required

Western Building Center in Libby is seeking an outgoing person who takes pride in excellent customer service. Are you a plumber, electrician, or carpenter who is looking to ditch the bags? This full-time contractor sales position will give you the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced retail environment. A successful applicant will be able to hone their knowledge of all aspects of building materials sales, from customer service and sales to administration and logistics. Skilled trade or lumber and building materials industry experience is recommended.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that WBC customers and clients have the best possible retail experience
• Fulfill sales goals as directed by the store manager
• Maintain clean and organized appearance of the retail facility
• Plan and pace own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
• Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attend periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned

COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of company products sufficient to determine appropriate applications

• Working knowledge of Windows & Google operating systems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A drug test will be administered prior to employment
• Valid drivers license
• Clean driving record
