Contractor Quality Program Manager at KBR, Inc.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Reports to the Contractor Program Manager.
  • Establishes and documents a formal Quality Program Plan.
  • Works across all teams: operations, development, engineering, logistics, and test teams.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to evaluate compliance with quality standards, regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Completes timely corrective actions for all deficiencies identified by the contractor or the government.
  • Maintains records of all audits, inspections, and tests to support compliance and effective operation of the quality program.
  • Reviews documentation, processes, and products to identify non‑conformities and improvement areas.
  • Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction with legal requirements, company and customer objectives.
  • Supports contract transition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ISO/TS 9001, 14001, 16949; Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), High Performance Green Cleaning, Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA); ISO 14000, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Citizenship & Clearance
  • US Citizen.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
Technical Knowledge
  • Implements and possesses total knowledge of quality management systems and auditing techniques.
  • Provides specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem solving and assessment.
  • Provides recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identifies root causes of all deficiencies, institutes effective corrective actions, and aggressively pursues continuous process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness for problem solving and customer service.
  • Effectively manages resources, schedules, and budgets; makes technical business decisions and applies risk management principles to day‑to‑day operations.
  • Clear communication at all organizational levels, both written and oral.
Scheduled Weekly Hours
  • Normal hours: 07:30–16:30.
  • 40 hours per week (5 days).
Travel
  • May require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations; approximately 10%.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Basic Compensation

$128,500 – $160,600 (CO area only).

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation such as sign‑on bonus, relocation benefits, short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
