Job summary

KBR’s Government Solutions team seeks a Deputy Program Manager to lead large, multi-disciplinary programs ensuring 24x7 facility and operations readiness in support of national security. The role requires strategic oversight, tight cost control, and proactive risk management across complex contracts.

Ideal candidates bring TS/SCI with Poly, a strong engineering or business background, and 7+ years of IC program management experience in mission-critical environments. Contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Must possess a TS/SCI with current Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering plus ten years of management experience OR Bachelor’s in another field with ten years of program management and six years in engineering or business.
• 7+ years of Program Management and IC experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams.
• 7+ years in 24x7 mission-critical environments supporting facilities construction, operations, maintenance and support services.
• Familiarity with 24/7/365 operational environment.
• Knowledgeable of FAR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execution of SOW within cost and schedule; interface with CO, COTR, and facilities leadership; deliver contract requirements; manage subcontracts.

As a Deputy Program Manager (DPM), Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Execution of SOW: within the cost and on schedule to include but not limited to: Ensuring community of support during Contractor personnel change; Interfacing Contractor Officer (CO), COTR, and Chief of Facilities; Delivery of all contract requirements; Managing subcontracts and responsibility for the performance and conduct of subcontractor personnel.
• Strategic Oversight: Command the planning, resourcing, and execution across multiple programs/projects, ensuring alignment with business and product line strategies.
• Financial Stewardship: Scrutinize and sanction financial frameworks and reports, maintaining the integrity of management reserves and expenditure.
• Holistic Integration: Champion cross-functional team efforts to deliver a synchronized service that addresses every angle of the Government's requirements.
• Risk Management: Strategize and allocate funds for risk mitigation, safeguarding project outcomes.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with all customers, and maintain a transparent and proactive dialogue with the Government, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of issues.
• Regulatory Adherence: Vigilantly enforce all contractual, regulatory, and compliance mandates in partnership with the contracts team.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a TS/SCI with current Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering plus a total of ten (10) years’ experience in Management level positions OR Bachelor’s degree in another field and ten (10) years of experience in project level positions PLUS six (6) years’ experience in the field of Engineering or Business
• 7+ years of prior relevant Program Management and Intelligence Community (IC) experience managing large (150+ person) multi-disciplinary workforce including tradesmen, engineers, warehousing personnel, and other base operating support staff
• 7+ years’ experience working in 24x7 mission-critical environments supporting facilities construction, operations, and maintenance, and support services where continuous availability of facility infrastructure is essential and of the highest priority
• Familiarity with 24/7/365 operational environment.
• Strong technical, programmatic, and personal leadership skills
• Knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as: PMP, CFM, PE, FAC-P/PM Mid-Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management
• 10 years of experience building and sustaining high-performing integrated teams
• 7 years of experience working with business strategy
• 7 years of experience developing project execution plans, schedules, and budgets
• 7 years of experience supporting the Federal and/or Intelligence Community
• 5 years of experience with long range business plans
• Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g. LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
• Experience planning and implementing large-scale facility and logistics projects.
• Knowledge of U.S. government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating and executing support to special events.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Basic Compensation

$177,300 – $236,300 annually (This range is for the VA area only)

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
