Job summary

ThinkTek LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a mid-level Contracting Specialist II to support federal acquisition activities. You will apply FAR knowledge, manage a range of contract types, and provide independent analysis to assist government decisions.

The role requires strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, experience with IDIQs, BPAs, and contract modifications, and proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience; or 24 semester hours plus five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination per position requirements.
• Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) Level II.
• Demonstrated experience performing mid-level Contract Specialist functions.
• Knowledge of the FAR and applicable federal acquisition procedures.
• Experience with multiple contract types including FFP, Cost-Reimbursement, LH, and T&M.

Responsibilities

• Process and support federal acquisitions per FAR requirements and agency regulations.
• Apply knowledge of contract types including FFP, Cost-Reimbursement, LH, and T&M.
• Support acquisitions involving FAR provisions: GSAR 538.71, FSS, FAR Parts 12, 13, 37, 43, 4.804.
• Support IDIQs, BPAs, and related task/delivery/call/purchase orders.
• Independently analyze assignments and provide feedback to the Government.
• Assist with acquisition planning, procurement documentation, contract processing, and administration.
• Utilize MS Office and Google Workspace to manage documentation and communications.
• Conduct internet research and coordinate with government stakeholders.
• Utilize PRISM (FAA ESC) to support contracting and acquisition functions.
