Qualifications

• 5–10 years industrial welding-related inspection experience, with at least 5 years in QA/vendor surveillance/shop inspections.
• Experience inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and similar equipment.
• Experience witnessing NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT) and verifying test reports.
• AWS CWI or API 510 certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and marking verifications on metal parts.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results and any non-conformities.
• Record inspection results and assist in investigating root causes of non-conformities.
• Communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel.
• Follow client-provided sheets, drawings, and paperwork.
