Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians invites applications for a Contract Tutor to support VTEC students with individualized tutoring and academic success planning. You will develop tutoring plans, prepare sessions, and track progress in collaboration with parents and teachers.

The role emphasizes clear communication, patience, and the ability to adapt explanations for diverse learners. Previous tutoring or teaching experience a plus; associate degree required, higher degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt explanations to individual students.
• Strong communication with parents and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group tutoring to VTEC students.
• Develop tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Prepare tutoring sessions to foster academic development.
• Assess progress and adjust tutoring strategies accordingly.
• Record progress and communicate with parents and teachers.
