Schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with background check and drug screen required prior to start. Experience in welding and repairing compactors, containers and carts is essential. The role involves working under supervision to fabricate, repair and perform preventive maintenance

Qualifications

• Basic welding techniques required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures when operating or repairing equipment.
• Ability to perform repairs on compactors, containers and carts.
• Ability to read and interpret simple drawings or prints.

Responsibilities

• Weld and repair compactors, containers and carts as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Conduct safety checks and document work in the fleet software.
• Assist senior welders on project work and service calls.
• Work from prints and set up layouts with proper tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
