Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is looking for an on-site welder to fabricate and repair compactors, containers and carts. The role covers welding across various processes, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance in a safety-focused environment.

Starting at 2:00 pm with a Monday–Friday shift, the position offers a $24.70–$26 hourly pay range based on experience, plus a $150 boot allowance and benefits. Growth opportunities and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding experience.
• Experience with various welding processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, applies welds to fabricate or repair compactors, containers and carts.
• Performs minor repairs and routine welding operations.
• Conducts safety checks and documents work using fleet software.
