Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• State licensure or eligibility for certification as a school psychologist.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other support professionals.
• Experience developing IEPs and 504 plans is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred; enthusiastic newcomers encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine student needs and support educational planning.
• Provide direct counseling, intervention, and support services to students individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive behavioral interventions and strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and help develop individualized educational programs (IEPs).
• Offer crisis intervention and prevention services as needed.
• Advocate for students' mental health and educational access through consultation and ongoing support.
• Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and federal guidelines.
