The ideal candidate has strong negotiation and communication skills, experience in purchasing or procurement, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field preferred.
• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
• ERP or purchasing software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, supplies, equipment, and services according to company requirements.
• Research, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of materials as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Review vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and specifications.
