Position Overview

We are hiring aPharmacy Technicianfor a bustling retail and compounding pharmacy operation just 30 minutes outside Cincinnati in Fairfield, OH 45014. These contract-to-hire positions are perfect for techs ready to expand their skillset in non-sterile compounding, specialty production, or mail order operations.

• Job Type: Full-Time, Contract to Hire
• Location: Fairfield, OH 45014
• Schedule:
• Compounding Techs: 12p8p or 4p12a (2nd shift, flexibility required)
• Retail/Mail Order Techs: 1st or 2nd Shift (7a3p, 8a4p, 9a5p, etc.)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential for permanent hire)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound non-sterile medications (capsules, creams, lotions, pellets, gels)
• Assist with filling, labeling, data entry, and prepping meds for shipping
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members in a fast-paced environment
• Handle Prior Authorizations and maintain workflow accuracy
• Use PioneerRx software for all pharmacy-related operations
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Has 12 years of pharmacy tech experience in retail, compounding, or mail order
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, team-focused environment
• Open to 2nd shift and flexible hours
• Willing to interview in person and start quickly
• Experience with non-sterile compounding strongly preferred (but not required)
  
  

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
• PTCB certification preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Willingness to be trained on non-sterile compounding if coming from a retail-only background
