Job summary

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience, IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 certifications, and proficiency with hand tools and MS Office. This is a contract-to-hire, on-site role with a pay rate of $28.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years of experience assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies.
• IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 certified.
• Knowledge of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns.
• Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures, including ESD compliance.
• Experience operating in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a clean, contaminant-free environment while wearing gloves during assembly operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform general assembly on subassemblies using the appropriate assembly procedures.
• Solder wires, PCBs, and subassemblies to precise specifications.
• Test subassemblies in electronic test fixtures.
• Learn and perform basic troubleshooting protocols and rework for non-conforming units.
• Meet expected daily production requirements.
• Stay flexible and handle priority changes as they occur.
• Report any quality problems or defects to management so corrective action can be implemented and recurrence avoided.
