Job summary
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Technical Program Manager (contract) to lead complex tech initiatives across the quality engineering division. You will ensure high-quality test coverage, coordinate with developers, designs, and product owners, and drive automation strategies for PlayStation features and services.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in software PM, experience with online services, and a deep understanding of QA methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS or related field.
- 3+ years of technical program management in software development.
- Experience with online services and device/app integrations.
- Knowledge of quality engineering including shift-left/shift-right.
- Experience with program management and issue trackers such as Asana and JIRA.
- Experience with KPI development and management.
- Proven ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proven track record delivering on schedule across complex, multi-team programs.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of large scale technical programs.
- Define deliverables and milestones for cross-team dependencies.
- Develop a roadmap for future releases and projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple programs.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders and management.
- Backup program team for additional programs including internal tooling.
- Develop and maintain understanding of HW/SW architectures and integrations.
- Keep aligned with current technical trends and emerging technologies.
