Fannin County School District is hiring a Non-Instructional Student Aide to supervise students and assist with personal care needs during the school day. This contracted services position runs 7 hours per day and is paid monthly via accounts payable.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work with administrators, teachers, students and parents, and dependable in-person attendance during regular school hours.

JOB GOAL

To supervise students and assist with personal care needs.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work across all school environments to provide additional supervision of students.
• Assist with students' personal care needs, such as toileting/diapering and other hygiene needs, changing clothes, carrying and distributing materials, assisting with meals, monitoring and assisting with medical conditions, lifting and moving students, cleaning/wiping down areas to ensure sanitation standards as required for safe school environments, etc.
• Work cooperatively with all school personnel to enhance the school's overall quality.
• Informing the appropriate school staff of all potential problems regarding student needs
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Engage in activities that promote professional growth.
• Required to have prompt, regular, in-person attendance and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular school hours
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Principal or designee.
