Job summary

nextSource Connect in Dallas, TX is hiring a self-driven accounting professional for a 6-month temp/contract role, onsite to start and then hybrid. The position exposes you to A/P, A/R, journal entries, and month-end close.

Candidates need a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 2+ years in multi-division environments; Salesforce/Blackline experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in multi-division environments.
• Salesforce and Blackline experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with data accuracy.
• Proactive and problem-solving approach.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in A/P and A/R processes.
• Perform collection emails and calls to customers as part of A/R.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze data for month-end close.
• Participate in monthly SOX controls and audits.
• Assist with financial analyses and identify trends for management.
• Lead projects to improve accounting and financial processes.
• Develop and maintain documented accounting procedures.
