Job summary

Cornerstone Accounting Solutions, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Staff Accountant for Month-End Close, remote with Savannah area preferred. Expect 20–30 hours per week and an hourly rate of $28–$30.

You will close books for multiple clients, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate, on-time closes. The role requires a degree in accounting or equivalent experience and QuickBooks Online month-end close experience.

• Multi-client month-end close experience in QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly cash-basis closes for a book of established clients: bank and card reconciliations, Shopify and Square tie-outs, payroll reconciliations, and sales tax filings.
• Maintain clean, accurate closes and verify all numbers before submission.
• Identify discrepancies, root causes, and provide recommendations to improve processes.
