Hiring Agency: Air Force Services Agency

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Air Force Services Center at Port San Antonio, TX. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs. per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Conducts reviews and analysis of Purchasing Card (P-Card) policies, functions, and programs. Uses quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze policy and process implementation. Assesses functional areas, develop trend analysis, and conduct fact-finding. Prepares and delivers reports on findings and makes recommendations to procurement specialists and managers for NAF spend analysis. Evaluates existing procurement processes that may impact P-Card transformation.

Identifies impediments, recommend process improvement, performs studies to determine the necessity for revision of requirements; changes in data collection process, establishment of new or reviewed metrics, or other changes. Conducts special P-Card reviews to identify practices and procedures that deviate from policy or directive. Performs procurement planning analysis, identifies products and services for inclusion in the Government Purchase Card (P-Card) program.

Creates, updates and makes formal presentations, conduct professional seminars, workshops and training sessions to teach personnel at Base and AFNAFPO levels their P-Card responsibilities.

Requirements & Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
