Overview

Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule while supporting impactful managed care and healthcare contracting operations.

Work Style: Hybrid (Onsite training for first 2 months, then hybrid schedule)

Location: Gainesville, FL

FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Supports the management and administration of managed care contracts within the health system. Assists in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Collaborates with internal teams—including managed care, legal, and finance departments—to facilitate contract execution and monitor vendor and partner performance. Helps track contract deliverables, supports negotiations, and addresses contract-related inquiries. Maintains accurate records and assists with audit preparation to support effective managed care contract management.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the administration and management of managed care contracts across the health system.
  • Assists with drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with managed care, legal, finance, and operational teams to support contract execution and implementation.
  • Monitors vendor, payer, and partner performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and service expectations.
  • Tracks contract deliverables, timelines, and renewal activities while supporting negotiation processes.
  • Responds to contract-related inquiries and assists in resolving contract discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintains accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting to support operational needs and audit readiness.
  • Ensures adherence to organizational policies, compliance standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Advanced managed care experience may substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • A Master’s degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting contract administration, preferably within managed care or healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with managed care contracts, payer agreements, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and contract management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal departments and external vendors or partners.
