Position Information
Do you have construction recordkeeping experience and a background in managing highly complex contracts with a focus on compliance? Do you enjoy working with stakeholders across Texas? TxDOT's Aviation Division seeks a Contract Specialist III, IV, or V based in Austin, TX.
The Aviation Division supports cities and counties in obtaining and disbursing federal and state funds for relief and general aviation airports, part of the 300-airport Texas Airport System Plan (TASP). It also participates in the FAA State Block Grant Program, implementing federal improvement projects for general aviation airports.

Minimum: $51,158; Maximum: $106,634 annually

Salary Grade B20: $51,158 - $81,351
Performs complex contract analysis, evaluation, review, and compliance monitoring, with extensive interaction with government and private entities. Establishes own work plans, handles issues independently.
Salary Grade B22: $57,614 - $93,138
Performs advanced contract duties, including analysis, evaluation, and compliance, with extensive stakeholder contact. Independently manages work priorities.
Salary Grade B24: $65,104 - $106,634
Performs highly advanced contract duties supporting agency programs, including analysis, evaluation, and compliance. Manages complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
