Job summary

Mission Driven Research seeks a Contract Specialist to support a US Army government project office in Huntsville, AL. You will aid in developing and coordinating CRPs, and assist senior management with contracting strategies while coordinating with customers across multiple contracting activities in a fast-paced environment.

Required are US citizenship, Huntsville-area residency or willingness to relocate, and a Bachelor's degree in business/management/financial fields.

Job description

As the Contract Specialist, you will work as a contract support analyst to a US Army government project office. This position will involve assisting in the development and coordination of Contracts Requirements Packages (CRP), assisting senior management with contracting strategy development and working with the customer through numerous contracting activities in parallel in a dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must be a US citizen, and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area. A bachelor's degree in business administration or management or financial field is required.

Other Qualifications:

Candidates with 3 to 10 yrs of applicable contracting-type experience through DoD programs are desired. Independent thinker and self-starter is important, with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task and support varied assignments. Good communication skills are important, with a positive and friendly demeanor.

Security Requirements:

Candidate must have a Secret security clearance.
