Job summary

Snohomish County PUD is seeking an IS Contract & Procurement Specialist I or II to manage vendor contracts and procurement activities. The role focuses on lifecycle management, policy adherence, and securing hardware, software, and services through formal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, law, or related field is required.
• Four years of contracts and procurement experience for IS Contract Procurement Specialist I.
• Bachelor's degree plus two years of procurement experience for Specialist II, or six years total experience.

IS Contract & Procurement Specialist I or II

$83,636.00 - $117,097.00 annually

Basic Responsibilities

Supports IT Management and staff in reviewing, managing, and renewing vendor contracts through contract lifecycle management. The Specialist ensures adherence to policies, laws, and directives. Facilitates procurement of hardware, software, maintenance, and professional services through formal and informal processes such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and bids. The Specialist works primarily with contracts, cooperative contracts (e.g., NASPO, KCDA, etc.) and online vendor terms to procure cloud/subscription services, professional services, and other miscellaneous services. On a smaller scale, the Specialist may help ITS managers procure on-premise ITS equipment and materials.

Minimum Qualifications

IS Contract Procurement Specialist I $40.21 to $50.26 Hourly

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field

OR

• Four (4) years of experience in contracts and procurement.

IS Contract Procurement Specialist II $93,677 to 117,097 Yearly

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field, AND
• Two (2) years of experience in contracts and procurement;

OR

• Six (6) years of experience in contracts and procurement.
