About the Position

Are you an experienced contracts and procurement professional with a passion for IT? Do you excel at managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced environment?

As an IT Contract & Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with IT management, project managers, and staff to review, manage, and renew IT vendor contracts. You will facilitate the procurement of hardware, software, maintenance, and professional services through both formal and informal processes such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and bid solicitations. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with policies, laws, and procurement directives while driving cost-effectiveness and risk management.

This role offers three levels of progression—Specialist I, II, and III—based on your experience and qualifications, allowing you to grow within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience
IT Contract & Procurement Specialist I
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field; OR
  • Four (4) years of experience in contracts and procurement.
IT Contract & Procurement Specialist II
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, AND
  • Two (2) years of experience in contracts and procurement; OR
  • Six (6) years of experience in contracts and procurement.
IT Contract & Procurement Specialist III
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, AND
  • Four (4) years of experience in contracts and procurement; OR
  • Eight (8) years of experience in contracts and procurement.
