Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Manteno, IL, to deliver services to K–12 students under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. The role includes planning with teams, providing special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consulting with general education staff.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree, valid state teaching certificate, and at least one year of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state policy.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
• Collaborate with general education staff on planning and implementation of student programs.
• Participate in team planning and provide instructional, tutorial and consultation support.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Valid state teaching certificate
