Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Georgetown, Kentucky. The role pays $45.00-$50.00 per hour with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.

You will learn and document business processes, propose digital solutions, train users, and coordinate with the technical team to drive development work. Qualifications require 3–5 years’ experience, SQL Server expertise, and proficiency with React/Angular/MVC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, React, Angular and MVC.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Learn and document customers’ standard business processes, current challenges, and Kaizen proposals.
• Support development of initial proposals for digital solutions aligned with business direction.
• Demonstrate and train system functionality for various roles.
• Support users by understanding and identifying their issues (e.g., bugs, missing instructions, or explaining system function).
• Coordinate with the technical team, providing the information needed to initiate and execute development work.
• Commentary: budget shift and maturity notes related to developer labor.
