Job summary

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is seeking a Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Georgetown, Kentucky. Responsibilities include documenting processes, proposing digital solutions, and training users on system functionality.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience with SQL Server, React/Angular/MVC, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Agile/Scrum experience is preferred; travel is under 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in SQL Server.
• Front-end web development with React/Angular/MVC.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work in Georgetown, KY.
• Travel less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Learn and document customers’ standard business processes, current challenges, and Kaizen proposals.
• Support development of initial proposals for digital solutions aligned with business direction.
• Demonstrate and train system functionality for various roles.
• Support users by understanding and identifying their issues (e.g., bugs, missing instructions, or explaining system function).
• Coordinate with the technical team, providing the information needed to initiate and execute development work.
