Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy in Watertown, NY seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a 1099 contract, part- or full-time, with supervision by a licensed SLP to support students’ speech and language goals.

You will implement therapy strategies, collect progress data, prepare materials, and collaborate with teachers and related staff to ensure effective service delivery in a supportive, manageable caseload environment.

Qualifications

• Current state certification or licensure as an SLPA.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must pass the ASHA Assistants Certification Exam and meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy activities under supervision.
• Provide individual and small-group interventions.
• Maintain records and data for IEP goals.
• Prepare therapy materials.
• Support communication across settings.
• Report progress to supervising SLP.
• Assist with screenings.
